There is a good selection of nightclubs to suit any taste, so you will never be short of places to enjoy during your stay.
If you are looking for somewhere to do some fun water activities then you should head to Playa de las Cucharas. This is a sand bar on the coast of Portal del Phoenician, where you will find a group of bars and restaurants. These are the perfect places for families, couples or just relaxing and enjoying a day in the sun. This beach bar offers excellent views of the sea, which means that you can also spend an entire sunset on one of the steps. The city of Portal del Fenico is also home to a small national park called Caucedo. It is a protected nature reserve made of sandy beaches, which is not only ideal for tourists, but also for animals. You’ll find plenty of walking trails and exciting wildlife to see on this three-mile-long beach. There are picnic areas, as well as playgrounds, hiking trails, and viewing points. In fact, if you have a little extra cash, you may want to hire a guide to take you around the beach and point out all the wildlife.
Although you will be able to see much of the countryside that surrounds the city, there is still more to see. If you are looking for a bit of history, you can stop at the Museo Historico de la Terre. Here you can see images of Porta DEST, the history of the cities, as well as a number of artifacts and memorabilia from before the French arrived. There is also a small chapel here, dedicated to Archduke Luis Salvador, who founded the city.
